We have longer days! In order to minimize injuries and maximize your exercise, please take some time to assess your longer day routines.
Look at your goals.
- Do you need to back down your walking or running time as you may be doing on a different surface which could create different demands for your body? I find each surface very different for me. I need time to adjust to the treadmill, asphalt, grass,etc.
- Do you need to replace some of your workout gear?
- Do other routine chores need to be placed in a different part of the day to allow you to better utilize the new hour of sunlight?
- Can chores be combined with the new season?
